Belgian d'Uccles

Currently we keep and breed Belgian d’Uccles – a delightful, bearded true bantam. These chickens are chatty and full of endearing personality making them ideal for families or anyone who enjoys having a genuine connection with their chickens!

We are members of the Belgian Bantam Club of Australia and exhibited at their national show for the first time in 2026, picking up several firsts and Best Porcelaine with our hen Wendy (pictured left).

We have sourced our foundation stock from some of Australia’s best breeders and continue to grow and develop our flock to exhibition standards.

Friendly

Belgian d'Uccles are friendly, charming little birds that are a delight to have in the family!

Small

Belgians are a true bantam - meaning there is no standard sized counterpart. They are under 750g at maturity.

Eggs

d'Uccles will lay around 150-180 small cream/white coloured eggs per year.

Fabulous

d'Uccles are known for their fabulous feet feathering and beards.

What We Offer

Fertile Eggs

We began selling fertile eggs in 2025 with excellent (95%+) hatch rates. This season we are proud to be offering posted fertile eggs. Our pricing for 2026 is $80 per dozen, plus postage.

We have an abundance of white Belgian d’Uccle eggs available for purchase and are looking at assembling a splash millefleur or blue/splash millefleur pen for the remainder of the season if there is enough interest in their eggs.

As we are not a commercial operation, and we are striving for quality, supply of eggs may be limited and sporadic. Keep an eye on our socials for availability, or register interest by sending us an email.

Chicks and Pullets

We will have a small range of chicks and pullets, as well as occasional trios/pairs and boys. We will be hatching selectively this season for ourselves, so any birds offered will be on a sporadic basis. The best way to stay updated on birds for sale is to follow us on social media, or send us a message to register your interest.
